Three Churches United — The Historic Calvary, Saint Mark’s, and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Churches — invite you to a special Liturgy of Remembrance and Celebration on Saturday, May 23 at The Historic Calvary Episcopal Church in Charleston.

Held during Memorial Day Weekend, this liturgy will honor the lives and Christian witness of the Emanuel Nine, whose faith and legacy continue to shape the Church and our wider community. Together, we will gather in prayer, remembrance, and hope.

Following the liturgy, a reception will celebrate the presence, ministry, and leadership of The Rev. Dr. Adam J. Shoemaker, Ninth Bishop-Elect of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island.

All throughout the Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina and the wider community are warmly invited to attend and participate.
